My name is Patrick J. Sparrow. I’m a Ruby developer who has been building web and desktop applications for over ten years.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Scranton in 2006. Since then, I worked with multiple web development firms in the Maryland and Washington, DC areas and co-founded Kettul, a small team specializing in web design, Ruby on Rails, and Drupal development.

I also wrote Ruby for Web Designers, an e-book for web designers and frontend developers who want to learn more about programming.

I currently live in Rehoboth Beach, DE with my wife Zee and rescue dog Oscar. In addition to coding, my interests include guitar, photography, craft beer, science, and the music of Phish.
